Friday, May 16th kicks off the official start of the 2025 WNBA season- and I personally could not be more excited. I’ll be at the season opener on Saturday for the New York Liberty as they face the Las Vegas Aces and three-time MVP A’ja Wilson. This extra special event also includes the Championship Ring ceremony and banner drop at Barclay’s Center to celebrate the Liberty’s first ever Championship win- Go Liberty!
This is no doubt my favorite time of year: getting to watch and cheer for my ladies in basketball. It’s fun and empowering and everything Femmespire Media is all about.
So, of course, it seemed only fitting to share with you a list of some of the best quotes by the inspiring ladies of the WNBA. I hope they encourage and empower you like they have me.
Let the 2025 WNBA season commence!
